Alvin Starkman (MA in Anthropology, JD from Osgoode Hall Law School) began visiting Oaxaca in 1991, taking up residence in 2004. Alvin has written over 200 articles about Oaxaca . He is a regular contributor to Mexico travel publications including Ventana Magazine, mexconnect.com and tomzap.com. He is a paid contributing writer for Mexico Today (CL), a program of Marca País - Imagen de México.
